From 2027, WGC is growing into a 'Culture & Tourism' enterprise, based in BRAZIL! WGC's essence will remain on collaboration, but now expanding into new territories, artforms, and exciting projects.

We are now talking to artists who wish to develop artistic residencies in two Brazilian regions: Paraná and the Amazon. At the moment, we can offer to be a 'host institution' for various projects, which is usually required by funding institutions to provide grants for the development of such projects. Our aim is to make the process as accessible as possible and to support artists in developing both their residency proposals and their funding applications for their Brazilian projects.

If you are interested in booking an online meeting to discuss your idea, please fill the form below with a brief description of your project idea, and we will get back to you! Also, please download the .pdf presentations below (ENGLISH and CHINESE) for further information and inspirational images.

WHY BRAZIL?

Brazil is a country of continental dimensions and extraordinary cultural diversity. Here, Indigenous, African, and European ancestral traditions converge in music, crafts, and storytelling. Breathtaking biodiversity coexists with a vibrant contemporary art scene, while pressing environmental questions unfold alongside dynamic urban centres and idyllic rural landscapes.

This unique combination makes Brazil an exceptional destination for artists and creative groups seeking to explore, create, experiment, reconnect with nature, and encounter new perspectives — or simply find the space and inspiration to let their art flow.
